Woodlawn School Goes Solar
The Woodlawn School District has completed a landmark 512 kW solar installation with Delta Solar, making it one of the largest school solar projects in the region. The system is expected to significantly reduce the district's energy costs, freeing up funds for educational programs and facility improvements.
The project features a ground-mount solar array designed to offset a substantial portion of the school district's electricity consumption. Our team worked closely with school administrators to design a system that maximizes energy production while fitting within the district's available land and budget constraints.
School solar projects like Woodlawn demonstrate that renewable energy isn't just for commercial businesses. Educational institutions can benefit from the same financial incentives, including the Federal ITC and MACRS depreciation, to reduce their energy costs while showing students what clean energy looks like in practice.
We're proud to support Woodlawn's commitment to sustainability and cost reduction, and we look forward to helping more Arkansas schools explore solar energy solutions.
